There is no such thing as a purely emotionless act. Hardened businessmen may appear to show no emotion with transactions or operations, but to purely eliminate it is be inhuman. While I do believe that decisions shouldn't be made purely based on our flawed human emotions, I also feel that they shouldn't be made as if by robots either. It is like I told my wife (upon Obama's election; pre-inauguration)....I can finally tell our kids that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be in life. There is no "asterisk" on that statement any more. On top of that, there can be NO MORE EXCUSES for any of us: Black, White, Latino, etc. There has been an absolute SHIFT in the direction of this country. Whether Obama was "your man" or not, the people have spoken. I completely agree with your sentiment.
